Due to an extreme re-jigging of the collection for an October grail, this has arrived. Yes, I'm supposed to be selling not buying but this will be a great replacement for my Rolex Deepsea, absurd water resistance and insane depth rating

Yep....can't be to careful in that office of yours..How's the Zenith working out? I do love that watch

Seem to wear it a lot more than I thought I would... .. It's just a great size, and I find the retro style really appeals...
Not the easiest watch to tell the time with though... But who cares about that little detail
That is stunning! If you ever decide to move it on give me a shout. Not the easiest watch to tell the time with though... But who cares about that little detail

Your first Sinn? Great choice, I hope that it fills the hole that was once the Deepsea, as Dom said I'm surprised that the DS is being chopped however I can see why you'd keep the other Rolex that you have. Many people seem to try another Sinn after getting their first, I ran a 757 alongside my UX, despite your prospective grail I'm wondering if you'll be tempted by another.

Beauty and the beast... a late night bit of online watch trading, a meet in Mayfair over an espresso and I ended up with this to be pals with the Sinn! Quite the contrast I think you'll agree; 44mm oil-filed quartz uber-diver with 5000m movement rating and 10000m case water resistance and a 39mm beautiful Glashette Senator Moonphase... rather pleased with them both. My reduction of the collection has so far not gone well...

Ooooof - I like that GO! Very similar to your JLC, in many ways? If you are looking to flip one (JLC/ GO) at some point, I may well be interested!
I am, however, sadly broke at the moment while I get my new company and invoicing sorted out!

Similar concept, surprisingly different watches! The GO is slimmer, has a brushed case and although 39mm, it appears quite delicate compared to the JLC. It also seems very modern whereas the JLC seems much more traditional.I think both will get worn a lot but who knows, perhaps one will need to be flipped at some point

Interesting... I wonder if 'delicate' would suit my girth... Definitely let me know if something needs to leave the collection!I think both will get worn a lot but who knows, perhaps one will need to be flipped at some point

having just purchased a pelagos im thinking the UX is surplus to requirements. How much do you guys think its worth; and where the best place to sell? (not enough posts on TZ etc). Its a Sinn UX SDR (black bezel/metal bracelet) purchased in Jan 14 from Chronomaster. immaculate etc.
I just paid 950 for mine, 2010 model. One went for 1150 as a 2014 model - does the SDR version carry a premium from new? Quinny said:

Mrs9 thinks I need to change my Blackberry but, but, but - NEVER!!!
Fat fingers and touch screens don't seem to go together in my world!
Having said that... Those were taken with an AA battery operated camera - it's like the 90s up in here! I have my lava lamp on as we speak
Seiko SKX007J winging it's way to me currently.
Already received the Tungchoy Super Engineer bracelet and a Miltat Grezzo G10 Zulu in black leather with natural stitching.
Other plans are double dome sapphire, plongeur hands set and an aluminium chapter ring.
The idea being not to mod it so it doesn't look like a 007 anymore but make it what it would be if if was a £600 watch.
Photos when finished.
