Beautiful watch. I've had my Steinhart green for a few months now (waited ages for it to come back in stock). Apart from the bracelet screws always working loose it has been spot on!
Wash the bracelet through with some washing up liquid and a soft tooth brush and next time the screws come loose, take them out, de-grease the threads, dip them in a locking-compound and do them up snuggly. Nothing worse than a bracelet falling apart just when you don't expect it!

i looked at steinharts a while ago. I couldn't quite believe how 'inspired by' other manufacturers they are... surprised they are allowed to produce such blatant likenesses.
Crikey; it's even got a 'flat 4'!

Lovely aren't they.

Mine has got to go in for a service shortly - going to miss it terribly.

Yes they are.

Hopefully it'll be a few years before mine needs a service, as it's only 4 months old!

Y'know, that doesn't look all that dissimilar to a Heuer Bund..........I recall there was a chap on here who sold one recently.
You're not wrong there Nick... it was considerably cheaper though and hopefully hasn't dented my fund too much. It is there to replace ALL my vintage chronos (Speedmaster, Navitimer x 3, Heuers galore), a tall order for a cheaper watch!

I've not seen one in the metal yet, and this is the first photo I've seen where I didn't think it looked gaudy. Have they only just started to surface in the UK (despite Tudor appearing officially last month)

It's actually quite nicely finished and quite respectful of the original design (although I'd much prefer an original!).

Haven't seen too many coming into the second-hand market yet (although they are quite abundant on Chrono 24).

Not everyone's cup of tea, but as much as I love my Sub, it just looks too small.

Very nice indeed. The blue breaks up the usual all black dial / bezel combination

Is this one a special edition (already) - blue face/green lettering?

Very nice. Particularly like the way the rotating bezel is marked up to be used as a second time zone.

When I saw that on TZ I visited my closest Tudor AD the day after to try one for size, I still think I prefer the grey/black HC however it was a very, very close call.

As Tudor did with the Pelagos, a great re-issue; nice addition.

Dodged a dodgy bullet today

Had some dialogue with a very well known seller this morning - me too low them too high

No worries, I can live with no deal being done

Just did some more research and there is something very wrong with the watch in question. I wont consider ever buying a watch from said seller again

Off to bed a bit pissed off tbh, twas a grail but no box or papers made me wary and low ball on the offer.

Hey ho

Hey ho
so you still bid on a pricey watch and no papers or did you not check that before putting the bid in? What did you find was wrong other than that?

I need to stay away from Creation Watches when drinking wine, I've got this incoming:

Not really a fan of gold, but rose gold looks more interesting, and I've got a couple of black tie events and thought this would go nicely.
