I think it's great however I could never own one, because my ex boss had a collection of TGs including a couple of Carreras, and he was such a dhead it's ruined them for me forever.

Money yet to change hands however this should be on its way soon; my second Stowa after my Flieger a few weeks back, this time a Marine Original.

These have been on and off my radar for a few years now so it was always a case of when and not if, and with it being the time of year and all that it had to be done.
Merry Christmas to me! xmas

Nice piece. Does it have a display back?

It's a Unitas movement with heat treated screws (like the handset, and not chemically blued), screwed balance wheel and swan neck regulator. thumbup

Thanks Lewis not quite in your league smile but it is great. Have you seen the Tudor Advisor? Another mechanical alarm watch that looks very nice. Still waiting for local dealer to get one in. Addictive these watches aren't they.

Some great watches on this thread....

In terms of beauty, this easily holds it's own against the various high end pieces being posted here yes

Great choice, I doubt I'd ever sell mine. I may have to get a croc strap for it though, looking at that photo.

Thanks chaps smile

It suits a croc well, I think that it'll prove to be a very versatile watch with regards to strap options and colours. I just hope that the grey croc on this is one of Stowa's shorter lengths, the croc on my Fleiger is the longest of the 3 available and suitable for the wrist of a gorilla.

Fancied one of these for a while (Autodromo Stradale). One popped up on ebay 'as new' for a very good price, so couldn't resist - I love it.

Had a longing for one of these since I first saw one on here. Very impressed with the watch but the strap was rubbish so popped it on a Hadley Roma for now

This is somewhat a grail watch for me, and is completely different from anything I have owned before. Absolutely delighted smile
