Oh dear... just bear in mind it'll come straight from Japan so will take a bit longer than usual and they were honest on the customs declaration which cost me £69.70.

Sold this about a year ago and always kind of regretted it. Fortunately it turned up on TZ-UK yesterday so we'll be reunited on Friday smile

I saw your post on the SC add, I thought that might have been yours originally. I know it's not a minter but it was up for a proper bargain, that was yes
Damn it don't tell me how much. I love my pvd version.

Well I have been looking for the ultimate moonphase watch... I think I have found it! The Martin Braun Selene with meteorite dial.

And I have been looking for a daily watch with a calendar... ended up with this lump of perpetual calendar goodness in platinum.

Have you bought the Martin Braun?

I couldn't quite understand how the two discs worked, do they both move?

Another TZ purchase. I am going to get myself banned from that site.
I have considered doing exactly that, or at least agreeing with myself to not look at SC...

Both of those have a place in the collection, it's just that others have had to leave; Rolex took a beating with the new Yacht-Master out the door (too up between the LV Hulk and YM - Hulk won) and my supposed keeper, a birth year Double Red sea-Dweller going frown

i'm lurking there but avoiding temptation at the moment, although had that GO popped up I might have had to have a go for it; beautiful watch Lewis. Not ususally a big fan of moonphase but that one is just subtle enough. 2 days ago wan't the YM the 'one & only' Rolex?

It's a good job I can't sign up to TZ because I'd probably be living out of boxes, or a house made out of watch boxes.

Just won one of these on the bay, very excited!
Looks to be pretty much the exact same case as my 'Cresi-Sub' 500m Diver. Won that on ebay for about £55 including shipping I think it was?

Even has the same shark mesh strap. Looks like Tauchmeister add a helium valve to the case, fit an auto, and increase the depth to 1000m. Either way it's a really comfortable watch to wear, sits really nice on the wrist.

So much so that I posted I was at peace with my collection, this came along and all was lost. Dam this affliction

Another TZ purchase. I am going to get myself banned from that site. Anyway the wife as said she will buy me this for my 60th.

Thanks Paul
I'm very pleased you bought that, I kept looking at the Omega and doing the man math which always came out fine smile but I resisted so I think I may be partially cured.
Great watches Lewis, the Meteorite dial must be amazing, photos please.

That GO was from SC! Poor pictures but I know the watch and watched it pass to its last 3 owners, who I have bought/traded with before. Great price for a platimum perpetual calendar and no worries with wearing daily.

Yachtie is terrific BUT something had to go. I looked at it and my LV together; the LV was a more versatile and useable watch, the YM borders on being a dress watchand with PCLs and the Pt sandblasted bezel will show its wear quickly. The LV has been worn daily for two years and looks better for it. YM is not sold yet however and I'll keep it if I can.

After some major reorganisations in the watch box this week, something I have wanted for a very, very long time should be coming in after a complicated trade... I don't think I have ever owned anything quite as special...

Not for everyone I'm sure, but I have been in love since day one of seeing a picture... I didn't think I could 'carry it off', then I realised I actually didn't care smile
