What's the deal with those, £500 odd for quartz and mineral crystal, am I missing something?
I like it and the durability of quartz.

Incoming.......

I've got one of these on the way to me from the continent..... I got it for a steal and could not say no! Not to everyone's taste, I'm sure, but I do love tool dive watches

(apologies for sellers pics)

Plus I have an OVM from steinhart on the way soon (hopefully), but they are waiting on movements coming in from Switzerland

A couple of NATOs from Eddie (a Royal Engineers and a Navy blue) and a black/red Hirsch Robby for the incoming DC67si, the plan being to use it on my Sinn UX as well.

Well it's been a long time coming.....

After various threads about looking, trying, advantages of buying from Europe, problems about buying from chrono24 etc etc I finally have my second watch....

It's a very difficult thing to photo as the face changes colour with the light but I'm very pleased with it!

It's white gold on an ostrich strap biggrin

Had a little cash left in the PP account this month. Have been looking for a vintage diver with this case style for a while.

That is lovely, great condition too, enjoy.

This is something completely different. A pink Slava with a 2428 movement made for the Italian market. Late 1980's bought as new old stock and on a black canvas strap. My other watches are not pink ! But I do like this for a change.

VERY happy thanks, it's very sharp and crisp to look at isn't it!

Even more confused about my Deepsea now as the SD 4000 is just so much more wearable (and better looking)

I think I bought mine last Wednesday, they really are something aren't they!

Excellent! It certainly is ... I know some people don't like the minute markers but it works well for me.

I was drawn to the DS but tried one on last year and it didn't quite work on my wrists ... also the SD 4000 had just been released and I tried that on so knew I'd have to have one.

Yes mine arrived on Monday last week too from Italy ... I've hardly taken it off! biggrin

Thought I'd share as it's one I'd been after for a while but felt iffy about getting without seeing or trying one first. Needn't have worried, had it a week and delighted with it smile

Just a quick update, Today I had the dive extension link replaced with 2 of the links that were removed when I bought it, it's WAY more natural feeling now!

Nice choice. They are quite similar to certain Sinn's but even harder steel used for the cases. Accuracy tends to be even better too. I've had 5 Damasko's and still have a DC 67

Thanks Andy smile I don't know how hard a life the watch had before it got to me but it's 5 years old and completely spotless all over, including the hardened buckle. 757s don't have running seconds so it would have been tricky to work out how well regulated it was however this one is maybe no more than +3-4 a day which I'm happy with.

Loving this! Do you have any more details please? I've looked on the Steinhart website but couldn't see this model (although I'm now rather taken by the Ocean Two White Premium yum).

It doesn't exist as a standard model – the Orange Ocean Two (and Yellow) were made a couple of years ago, in the regular O2 style (solid caseback and ETA movement).
I'm not sure about the timelines, but they were replaced with the blue, black and white versions, and the Premium line was added not too long ago, which brought the Soprod A10 and display caseback.
