I did wonder if you may have been after it Andy; it'd go well in your collection.
Yeah - definitely interested in getting one eventually Luke, stacks of character with the 3H dial.

My wife's grandfather passed away recently and I was given first dibs on the chap's watches. These were both sat in a drawer. The rotary is worth buttons but it's clean and hand wound. The omega is pure 1970s marmite. It's keeping time nicely. I reckon the Camille Fournet alligator strap I've stuck it on is worth more the watch!

Wow they must be tiny pieces compared to mine wink

Your picture did confuse me for a few minutes until I realized that's a photo/magazine smile

It's the front cover of the latest edition of QP magazine, within it is a write-up of the new YM. How are you finding it? The new metal bladed elastomer wrapped strap sounds interesting.

Picked it up yesterday, one of the first to land. I had ordered it the day before the Basel show as soon as I saw a photo of it. I don't normally do things like that biggrin

Absolutely loving it, the rubber strap just doesn't feel like a 'normal' rubber strap, and the watch is extremely comfortable to wear. Very subtle and sporty for a Rolex but with that same hewn from a solid chunk of metal feel.

Glad your watches aren't 'tiny' wink and I must say, nice as any new watch is, there's always something so much more about an old watch with 'history'. Enjoy wearing them.

Yep, they're lovely.
Maybe something for the future.

Having had my collection expand vastly, with not many going, I do need to slim down the collection before buying anything else...

Hope you're well. smile

So a few minutes ago PH decided to change my post to include a hyperlink to an Amazon DVD (Bad Boys 1&2!), instead of just the words 'bad boys'! Now it's back to how I wrote it, what the hell is going on?!

I'm guessing that you were not logged in when you initially viewed your post. From what I've read, guests are subjected to a raft of "relevant" hyperlinks embedded in the posts that we as members don't get to see.

Bought this as my work Casio (£20 special from Argos) has a strap that's about to fall to pieces. Decided to upgrade a bit to a slightly more expensive watch, but got £40 off from the watch shop. Paid £70 and its hopefully going to be delivered tomorrow

As I've been recently hankering after watches I used to gaze longingly at in mother's catalogues in my early teens, Saturday's postie delivered a 1977 Seiko M158 "Pan-Am" with the lemon-drop crystal and the 3-code time zones. I bought a new glass for it just in case, but it's actually not as bad as the pics in the ad!

Very happy bunny now, and a nice compliment to the more recent Casio World Time.
