Ordered a watch from MVMT last night, doesn't ship til November 6th. Image taken from their website, wouldn't normally buy blind but with free returns there isn't much risk.

I just need one more to fill my watch case (capacity of 6), then I'll have to persuade the OH I need another watch case!

Chronograph subdials with numbers just seem a bit, well, pointless wink

Would have been better as a simple three hander

The beast arrived this morning and although big, it's not as comically large as I feared it would be. This is mainly because the watch isn't visually as big as the official dimensions would suggest. Casio state 59.1mm length for the case length but the lug to lug is actually only around 50 mm and the bezel is around 43mm in diameter. It's no shrinking violet but as G-Shocks go it's not bad at all. It's nicely finished and for less than £200 I think pretty good value.

I like that. what model?

damn it looking around the site you bought it from i need a JUNGHANS 1973 CHRONOSCOPE ffs

Subdial spacing also clearly indicative of an oversized case housing a normal sized movement.

The non atomic version is GSTS110D-1A and the atomic is GSTW110D-1AER. There are a few colour/strap variations and I got mine from eBay.

I ventured into Dom H's Hatton Garden lair yesterday and emerged with this.
Wanted one for ten years so I'm one very happy bunny.

I really like those - very understated and timeless (odd concept for a watch, but you know what I mean... wink )

I nearly ordered one recently, but then another shiny thing came along, but that's still on my list.

We should call him 'Dangerous Dom'. A conversation with him seems to always result in a watch purchase, even if it's not directly from the man himself. biggrin
Nice watch, looks good on that strap. Congrats.

Had to ask didn't I. You see this is why I stay out of this thread. To be different I ordered this one should come sat or Monday offered 170 they said £200 which seems to be the going rate so no deal but I went anyway

Almost certainly a fake, if it's real it's a million $ watch smile

Yeah, I like that one too. The red highlights are a nice, sporty touch.
