I don't usually do "unboxing" shots, but this is a very special watch for me. One I've lusted after for absolutely years.
As I expected, I couldn't sleep last night, so I was on the road by 5:30am. Driven 480 miles round trip to collect this and I couldn't be happier.
Not quite sure what else to say - I'm a bit blown away to be honest.
Just perfection. Pure perfection. As I expected, I couldn't sleep last night, so I was on the road by 5:30am. Driven 480 miles round trip to collect this and I couldn't be happier.

Don't expected this will get much appreciation on here due to the brand, but this is my 2000 auto which I've just had serviced. It's been in the draw for a good 10 years due to me always having something more import to spend my money on, and then being forgotten about.
It must be 22+ years old now, and prior to being consigned to the draw was my daily. In fact the first 2 links became bent when I stacked my mountain bike
Anyway I still absolutely love it and glad I dug it out and got it fixed up. I'm still happy with the mid size on my insect like wrist, no matter what my other half has to say about it.
I have the same watch. Can you tell me where you had it serviced please? It must be 22+ years old now, and prior to being consigned to the draw was my daily. In fact the first 2 links became bent when I stacked my mountain bike

Had it done at watch doctors (Tring). Posted it via RM special delivery and it came back a couple of weeks later. Was expecting/ hoping their 7 day service would be quicker, but on the website it states quite clearly 7-10 working days, Doh! Anyway they did a top job, really happy to have it working again. My belated Xmas pressie arrived...not showing on my scrawny wrists as it does look a smidge chunky but dont care. It's a belter. People sitting opposite me on the tube today probably assumed i had some OCD type illness as i checked it out every 10 seconds. Other watch is a 20 year old Seamaster...cor blimey Tudor now how to box these babies. My wife thinks i am mental but she enabled it!
