One of these is on the way to me:

Picture nicked from CWforum.

Mine won't have the custom strap as in the picture, I'll either get a replica, or put it on a mesh.

£15 of Chinese Submariner clone for the sake of curiosity. If it's acceptable I may apply the ubiquitous NATO strap and use it for the daily grind.

Very nice. The strap makes it IMHO, I like the way the red stitching matches the red on the dial and the seconds hand.

I'v had a £15 sub of eBay that i'v been using for work for 2 years, it's on a nato, only problem was that the crown dose not screw down. Other then that its kept time perfect.

I`ve accidentally ended up with these since December!
Lovely couple of watches there! How are you finding them?

Possible 40th birthday gift ideas (albeit in just over two years time)!!

Just received this (no doubt at the top of a very steep and slippery Heuer slope)

Please let us know how this goes, which ever way it does go.

It would be interesting to know what lead you to your original conclusion and whether you were right or wrong.

Thanks Vladimir

Getting on with them really well thanks!

I have NO doubts about the Seawolf what so ever, it's REALLY nicely made and finished and it's a nice touch that there are 1000!

The Alpnach is quite cool and a bit unusual but it's not really in the same league, I wouldn't say that it was worth the full UK asking price!!

Funnily enough I bought myself a Super Avenger blacksteel for my 40th, that too is really nice but BIG!!!

Well, let's see how it goes. Admittedly the description does state that it is not waterproof and shouldn't be worn in the shower....

another Seiko, another creation purchase, my first chronograph. Happy to have a solar one too as I can't be bothered winding more than one automatic when I swap them over depending on what I'm doing. Went for the yellow colour variant, shame it comes with a rubber strap but I have a spare ready for it anyway..

Problem is it's a pilot strap which might look a bit odd to seasoned watch starers nerd

A big fan of that sort of watch and your picture of it had me checking my local dealers stock! Will gave to wait for a bit but I like it a lot. Assume that the black/dark metal will hold its colour well? My much cheaper black ion strap watch looked good until the black started to wear off. I would imagine Breitlings keep fresh for aeons?!

Drab; looks good!

I have this in black and red but really likes the yellow just was a shame it only came with the rubber strap option, temped to get one and put it on a black and yellow nato though.

If it wasn't for you pesky Pesty I wouldn't be totally tormented by the Pelagos!
