Yeah, the chronos are nice. I like the GMT and white faced versions without the divers bezel.

Put a new strap on the latest arrival. its a good job I like this watch because its absolutely useless at telling the time. don't get me wrong its very accurate i just cant see it in anything other than bright sunlight.
Haha, I did think that when I was going to get one.

I love my Airman 2000, I have had it years now, whenever I get bored I swap straps, bracelet, rubber divers, various colours of combat.

To get over my 'black' itch I think I may just order one of these....

For the money it will do the job.

Excellent choice. I've long been a Fortis fan, but only have one:

Who says the date and time have to make any sense on a wristcheck wink

Ball Fireman Classic on a Di-Modell perforated black leather strap.

Have exactly the same watch on the original Ball perforated strap. Good to see more Balls on here. Oo-err, missus...

Ooh didn't see that one.

Blue face with orange Bessel caught my eye though.

That's the Quartz version, and Jura have it at £295 at the moment.
Hence why it may get the 'black watch' thing out of my system.

Mine was pre owned for that. 12 months old looked like it was never worn.

Even if you want the quartz one I'd check watch forums and ebay.

Could someone please explain the difference between a Speedmaster and a Speedmaster Professional?

WofS make a distinction on their website and there is a £3000 price difference!
Ther
There are numerous models of Speedmaster. The most popular is probably the Professional - 3570.50.00 'Moonwatch'. A manually wound chronograph without date function. Last year list price was £2880 I think. I don't know now.
Actually, I need to resize the bracelet on mine so I can wear it.

Bought this today:

I've wanted one for years, I just love that gorgeous iridescent blue face and how slim it is for a smart/dress watch. The increasing tattiness of the plating on my Classic Lotus watch (now rendering it unsuitable for dress wear) finally sealed the deal.

Noice. Very noice.

I keep looking at those and think I might pull the trigger on one. Where did you get your's? Getting lots of wrist time I guess.

My first Omega and I'm loving it had some nice comments within the first few hours at work from customers asking if they can look at it cool I'm certainly happy with my choice.
