Wrist Check 2014

FINALLY found a strap for this watch which I really like - a Hirsch Liberty with a deployant clasp. Although the face is quite small, I'm enjoying wearing this one again, as I was never quite happy with it on a NATO, and the previous straps I'd bought just weren't thick enough to hide the fact that the case has relatively long lugs on it.
Was even thinking of selling it, but it will be staying for a while longer now.
November 2013, birthday present to myself:-
December 2013, early Xmas present:-
And for the new year these two have joined the fold:-
I've kept on promising myself I won't buy any more as I've got nowhere to put them. So the other day I bought a 24 watch winder.
Not expensive watches compared to most here, but I do love them all!

I'm not that struck on JLC's dressier watches, but I do like these!Lovely watch.
Massive crown and guards x2........as if one wasn't enough!
Branding in completely the wrong position on the dial.
And a GMT time wheel protruding from a gapping wound on the dial.
The least said about the hands, the better!
Sorry Jamie, but not even the name can save that one, for me.

Dear God no.....that's a monstrosity from such a distinguished brand.

It's a memovox, the extra crown and "wound" on the dial are for the alarm not a GMT function.Massive crown and guards x2........as if one wasn't enough!

I like it, which at the end of the day I suppose is all that matters.

Ok, ok, OK! It's not a GMT, but that's nitpicking – it's still a monstrosity and it's still got a gapping wound on its dial.
For being a JLC, it's a god-awful design, and one which should've been killed with fire, along with the idiot that penned it and thought it was the best thing he'd done that day since slicing his baguette at lunchtime!
But as Jamie still loves it, then all's well with the world.

I've never seen a Heuer that I didn't like until they became Tag Heuer, then I don't think i've seen one that I do like

Chars John - it was the last Heuer Carrera and one of the very last Heuers, not bad as a death-rattle watch along with its PVDed brother the 510.511, which I'm also keeping an eye open for.I've never seen a Heuer that I didn't like until they became Tag Heuer, then I don't think i've seen one that I do like

Here it is with my other L5100 Heuer, the 510.501 -
