Harsh!

I agree- great looking. Probably not the best on the thread though!

Everyone loves something different, but that's the kind of watch I FEARED I'd be wearing in 2014! biggrin

Fortunately, the Omega I'm wearing today is a bit more traditional. smile

Whatever, you're wearing though, wear it with pleasure! That's all that matters really.

it's definitely a cool curiosity and a zeitgeist from when the world thought digital would take over. I guess it has, but not in watches.

I'm increasingly coming to the conclusion that I will have to get a Heuer sometime.

They all look so cool.

And it doesn't look even slightly flash; you have to know a bit about watches to spot that it's anything remotely special. I like that.

Popped in to Fraser Hart this morning and left with one of these to go with my blue Breitling Superocean Heritage. The Dornbluth should arrive next year (!) and that will be me done with watches. I mean, how many does a man need FFS?!!! rolleyes

From last month but more or less always on my wrist these days.
After seeing RobCh's post, and what with me having a bit of a thing for 1655's, but without the spondoolies to buy one, I ordered one of these.

It isn't bad for €400. I particularly like the lugs that sharpen to a point. It's like having a Rolex that's had an RSC service......

Bought for a song today. Shame not to air it this evening. Only niggle is I can't get the date to change independently. Time etc adjusts fine but can only get date to change by adjusting time. Any suggestions?

Are you sure you've the crown at the right position for changing the date?
Presume you've turned the crown in both directions?

Obviously the answer to both should be "Yes", but short of being faulty, what other questions could be asked?

Nice. Dog tag also looks like a USB key?

Doesn't seem to have that intermediate position. Not been serviced since its 2008 purchase date so might be a case of needing some tlc. Its in mint condition so I don't think it's been dropped or anything. My watchmaker can take a look Monday.

Some Longines chronograph models have an inset date-change button at 10 o-clock rather than using the crown.
