Wrist Check 2014

Wow, lovely watches. I bought this YG GMT-IIC a year or so ago and I haven't stopped wearing it since! It's my favourite watch ever.
I'm thinking of buying a RG SkyDweller to add to my collection next, since Patek don't really suit my dress style very much, even though a PP is the obvious way to spend the money. However the YG GMT will remain my daily driver.

Not a big fan of gold sports watches, the Sub is horrible, but I do like that. Is it heavy?I'm thinking of buying a RG SkyDweller to add to my collection next, since Patek don't really suit my dress style very much, even though a PP is the obvious way to spend the money. Yes, it was a really easy choice for me GMT vs Sub, especially in Gold. I even had a steel/gold GMT before this which I liked, but didn't love.Yeah it definitely has some weight to it - about 230 grams I think - so a solid little thing, though of course you get used to wearing it pretty quickly.
Pleased to see some gold and bi-metals appearing on here. This is my everyday watch, an Omega Speedmaster Reduced from around 1988. Originally on a stainless steel bracelet it's now on a Hirsch Modena. Being over 25 years old it's slightly smaller than the current Speedmaster at 39mm and as I have small wrists I like that.

Nice. It's a handsome watch and has patina whilst not looking dated.sealtt said:

Nothing to do with it being 25+ years old, though. All Speedmaster Professionals have always been 42mm and Reduceds are 39mm (Although lots of sites list them as 35.5mm as that's the measurement 12 - 6, rather than 9-3!).
In the shop windows they look much smaller than the 'Moonwatch', but on the wrist, you barely notice.
