Still wearing my Hydroconquest everyday, three months in now.

Still on the original bracelet - it has the odd scuff now so i'm not so precious/worried about it now! - maybe i'll mix things up with a shark mesh bracelet one day, or a blue Toshi strap. Having said this, the polished centre links which I was unsure about have really grown on me, and add to the watches appearance, making it stand out a little. It's a comfortable well designed substantial bracelet too, so why change it...

I only take it off to wash/work on the bike. It's keeping fantastic time, very near (if not) COSC. Very comfortable, and easy to read, and the bezel stands out beautifully when it catches the sun - i'm glad I went for blue!

I don't stare at it as much as I used to, but I sure love it! For a special never-sell watch for my 21st birthday, I chose well smile It's transpired since day one that that it is so nice that it just has to be worn everyday - and fortunately, it makes a great everyday watch thats for sure. Thanks to the people who recommended it! biggrin

Nice review of a fantastic watch. I'm a year in with mine now and love it. Ridiculous value for money, I don't think there's anything in its price range to touch it.
Indeed, just put mine back on its bracelet, for a change and wondering why I ever took it off biggrin

The one thing it does emphasise is that the Hydroconquest is a very versatile watch, it looks quite different on a leather strap and its bracelet.

Totally agree on VFM, though, a great watch at the price.

M.

I got my grail a few weeks ago now, it almost seems too special to wear to work, but I'm drawn to it like a moth to a flame everytime I go to put on a watch!

Bought some extra links from Chronomaster, so now I can wear this on the bracelet.

That's a mighty fine watch/car combo right there!

But why not get an official Ferrari watch, they're pure class http://store.ferrari.com/gb_en/watches.html#more4laugh

Loving the Hydroconquest love. I went for the silver in the end as I just really fell in love with the raised numbering on the bezel.

I agree that the blue dial looks nicer, but the silver's not too bad when it's broken up with the sub dials on a chronograph.

Wonder if I can change the dial to a blue one, but keep the nice bezel...?

I suspect it may have been easier to buy a blue faced watch and change the bezel.

It's a Seiko SBPG001 "Spirit", a solar powered digi with radio controlled timekeeping. They're Japan only which makes them a little trickier than normal to get hold of but they come up pre-owned now and again for around £170 - £180, creationwatches used to list them new but they've since delisted that model.
