Long since discontinued and hard to find nowadays pre-owned.
HEQ (high end quartz) with ±20 spy (seconds per year) via the 8F56 movement, and a (supposedly) 10 year battery life.
Looking at the bracelet, I'm given to suspect (if not recalling from distant memory) that these were made on the same hallowed benches as the Grand Seikos.

Titanium…….woohoo!……with a Diashield coating to give the metal a surface that's effectively scratchproof. I read somewhere, a number of 9.5 on a hardness scale, which was just 0.5 lower than diamond's hardness.
So when Seiko Japan come through with prices/availability of a few extra links, I'll be rocking and rolling a potentially new beater.

Not my images, but I'll post up my own when it arrives next week, all being well.

Was supposed to be this….

….but has ended up being this instead….

And it turns out the member whom I let have the 017, while I went after the 019, sells it the same day he receives it because something else has caught his eye!
Had I known that was going to be the case, I may've just kept the pair of them!
