Tissot, Hamilton or C. Ward?
Discussion
Sorry Jim, no offense meant, I like some of CWs designs. By Fashion I meant that if you look at gent's watches from the 40s through to the late 90s/early 2000s they were usually 34mm-39mm. It's only in the last 10-15 years that manufacturers have made such large watches in the 42mm-45mm range. That to me is a modern fashion, it's not a derogatory word just a fact. And that's me generalising because someone will now point to a vintage watch of 40mm dia. but you take my point.
I have to agree with some of the comments made about the C60. I have a C60 GMT with a Bracelet. I have quite a narrow wrist, and yes its very heavy and does take over you wrist. After some adjustments at a local Jeweler, the winder still digs into my hand. Also i have a C11 which is my favorite time piece at the moment. The C7 Rapide Mk1 Chronograph is a nice and light watch with a large Dial. Still puts a smile on my face. Good luck finding the wright watch.
I'm no watch expert, but isn't it best to decide on a style first? You seem to have a Dive, Sports Chrono and Pilot there, so three different styles.
Out of those I'd take the Hamilton, but the c60 in Charcoal or Black is a good choice. Also look at Steinhart as others have said.
I've just bought a CW C8 Pilot U2 Vintage and love it.

I'd be looking at Longines, too, at that price point, personally.

Not far off budget here http://www.iconicwatches.co.uk/in-stock.html?brand...M.
Just a quick update to give this thread some closure, I have bit the bullet and gone for a Longines Hydroconquest automatic (Blue bezel and face).
I ended up buying it from an independent jewellers and got some discount so i was happy to pay a little above the Web price due to the service etc.
Overall i am very pleased with my purchase and it puts a smile on my face.
