Asking on behalf of a colleague - he's just sold his Citizen and Tag and wants a watch for around £1k with a Citizen red-arrows / breitling type of face - has to be an auto.

I suggested looking at second hand. Any suggestions of particular targets?

I have one of those, but I paid significantly less than a grand for it. Around £5-600 if I remember correctly. It's a great watch, but hunt around for deals if interested.
