Tudor UK prices??

I can confirm the UK price 'was' £2770. This is what I payed at Goldsmiths in Nottingham in December last year. I only had a 2 week wait, but NO discount. You will not get a discount over 3% through any official UK Rolex dealer, Rolex set the tone on this.
The Pelie is a fab watch, don't be put off by the the watch snobs that say it uses a ETA movement, yes it does, BUT its been tweaked inhouse at Rolex and the watch is made by them... you can't really go wrong! Think of it as a cut price Rolex Deepsea!
The reason I say 'was' above is this was before Rolex announced they are bring the brand back to the UK, I'm not sure if that will effect the pricing, or not.
They are launching in September, so I would do anything until then
Oh, and I'd only purchase through an AD... not via the grey market... just for added piece of mind and the back up should anything go wrong. At the end of the day its a Rolex, and they can be a bit picky about things!

The Pelagos is much better proportioned than the Deepsea.
As for only buying through a UK AD, as long as you have the warranty you'll be fine with a watch from overseas. I got mine s/h for £2,300 ish from memory. It was only a few months old and mint. It had originally been bought in Switzerland.
I could have bought a brand new one in Greece the other week for about £2,100 stirling equivalent. If I didn't already have one.........

So, what part of this is 'not' a Rolex? Up until the late 80's Tudors still had the Rolex markings on them. My 1958 Tudor has Rolex all over the case and crown.... but, I guess thats nothing to do with them then.
As for the DeepSea quote... please explain to me why you think this is not the case? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. As the sales person from where I purchased also had the same opinion... oh, and they have been selling Rolex for many many years... I guess he was wrong too!

They're friendly enough, usually good stock, but I can't stand the location!

I simply stated the other differences.
And no it's not worth arguing about, a Tudor is Tudor, a Rolex is a Rolex, both fine watch brands, both deserve their own limelight. So I just stated it's not a Rolex, I haven't slagged it off or implied it's an inferior product, which it's not. I've never been keen on the silly comparisons of any two items in different price ranges, as they appeal, mainly, to different customer bases.

I`m HONESTLY HONESTLY NOT going out of my way to be contrary BUT I disagree about having different customer bases!I simply stated the other differences.

P.S. I also have a Daytona but IMO the Tudor chrono looks much nicer.
I also have a Deepsea but I love the Pelagos just as much (some would say that`s not difficult) and I do quite fancy a Black Shield with alcantara strap (though I think the strap could get a bit tatty looking)P.S. I also have a Daytona but IMO the Tudor chrono looks much nicer.
