The strap is aftermarket but can anyone ID this watch? Been after something black and orange and this fits the bill. Cheers

It could be a Yobokies mod. Some of these have similar dial & hands:

But I couldn't see the exact one.

Yup, definitely looks like a Seiko case and 7S36 movement there.

Thanks - good spot it does indeed look like a Yobokies mod Seiko.

I don't really have a budget for this as I don't need another watch! wink I just liked the look of that particular one. It doesn't look expensive so I guess <£200.

How can you tell from the Flickr is a Seiko based Sinn homage? I couldn't see any clues on the photos.

Thanks for those other suggestions but it was really this particular one that piqued my interest. It's clean, unfussy and whilst I don't usually like fabric straps I looked right on this.

The Hamilton Khaki doesn't really do it for me. Too fussy dial and not enough orange. That Seiko Sunburst Monster although not what I was looking for I do quite like but really do not like the sunburst face. If that face were black with an optional orange strap I'd have one.

The Omega Planet Ocean has the right amount of orange but I don't want another Omega.

Might have to get in touch with Yobokies. Can see myself ordering a Sinn homage and a modded Monster! smile

It's not one, but it looks similar to a Lum Tec

For me, everything works except the second hand, which doesn't fit somehow.

That is a fantastic looking watch. Do you mind me asking how much you paid for it?

Unfortunately I didn't - I found it whilst looking for Yobokies mods - I managed to get my watch SKX007 from creation for about £120 IIRC and the strap from Ebay. The Bezel was designed and made in a very limited run by a guy who died that worked for Harold I think.
So its probably unique.
This is the closest they've got now.

Slightly spookily this has come up for sale on TZ-UK:

Not exactly the same, but close for only £65.
