I bought this whilst in Washington DC last week - quite fancied for a while but didn't like the leather strap the UK version comes with so when I saw the US one with the bracelet at less than the UK leather price I was sucked in!! So, thats a Tag, a Breitling and now a Longines

Fine looking watch from a respected brand, that. It's a shame that snap doesn't show off the dial and blued handset, it really is a cracking combo.

I haven't tried that model on however I have tried the silver handed, black dialed and Roman numeraled version, its size wore extremely well. I've been looking at classically styled chronos for some time now, if either model was to pop up pre-owned any time soon I don't think I could resist, though I'd prefer leather to a bracelet myself.

I'll be purchasing a Longines soon. Either a Master, or one of the Heritage models. I have my eye on the forthcoming replica 1935 Czech pilots watch.

Good choice. One of the best-looking watches Longines have ever produced.

I hadn't seen that model.

Now I have and I desperately want one.

A very handsome watch indeed. They're available from November, I think.

I have a Master Collection non chrono on the bracelet ( black dial/roman numerals)....

The bracelet is a work of art and so well designed; I had to remove a couple of links when I bought it last year, and when you take it apart you appreciate just how beautifully made it all is.
And of course it has the display back which is nice...

Oh and it does keep extremely accurate time, which is another advantage !

Compared to a year 2000 Datejust/Oyster bracelet that I have recently acquired ( as an investment.. hopefully! ), the build quality of the Longines is so much better than the Rolex....IMO of course !
