Hello I am after a repair on a fake omega , the screw down crown has come off (not sure if its snapped or just come off) ill put a picture, if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated as my local watch shop still isn't back open

Chrysler 300C Bentley anyone? Same thing in my book.

If there’s not a hole in the crown where the stem would screw in you could be knackered. If there is, take the back off and release the stem. You should be able to screw it back use some thread lock to hold it.

Many watch places won’t touch fakes...

I see where you are coming from but many years ago, I think 2007 I was on a cruise which stopped in Turkey one day and I too bought a fake seamaster with hindsight it wasn't a great copy but was passable at a distance cist about 40 euros I think.

It did fuel my desire for the real thing and in 2009 I bought a genuine seamaster pre owned in the same colour which at the time cost I think £800.

In January this year I sold that Seamaster and in April I bought a brand new Seamaster 300 Professional.

A couple of weeks ago I added to that buying a genuine Seamaster Planet Ocean on rubber strap to go along side it.

Not bad from being inspired by a 40 euro fake from a Turkish bazaar.

Hello I have managed to somehow get it screwed on without taking the back off as I don't have any tools , however I can only turn the time backwards as otherwise it unscrews again, however agleast it means I can set the time correct now , thank you for your help , not eo much thanks to the bloke that made the Bentley comment however I agree 🤣
