Watch finder - London. Anyone bought from them?

I bought two from them last year and had to return both almost immediately - went elsewhere the 3rd time.
The first was an Omega Planet Ocean Chrono - that stopped twice in the first week despite being fully wound and used daily. The second was a Rolex GMT "Coke" with Jubilee bracelet - this was not sized as requested (minor) but had undisclosed damage to the crown and also the crystal.
I would not use them again.
That said their after sales customer service was very good and I got refunds without any drama (I did have to remind them that faulty products required them to pay the return shipping costs)

Earlier this year I reserved a 2009 V series Rolex Seadweller with them after parting with £1,000 deposit for them to hold it over the phone and I was told the watch was immaculate.
It took me two hours to get to the Royal Exchange and £40 on a return train ticket. The watch was nowhere near as described over the phone with a scratch on the under side of the glass which they said could hardly be seen, you didn't need an eye glass to see it, it was that evident and the strap was so lose it felt like it had been well worn. How the under side of the glass was scrtached was a mystery to me.
This was a £5,250 previously owned watch and had not been serviced by them, only polished. I asked if they would replace the glass and they said no but they would knock off £100 as a gesture of goodwill towards a service. I got up and said you've wasted my time and £40 on a return train ticket and I would like my £1,000 deposit back. They said the manager would have to authorise the refund and he was out at an external meeting for the remainder of the day. It took a week for me to get my £1,000 back.

Why did you need to go to the Royal Exchange? WF is primarily a mail order operation. They would have mailed you the watch. You could have returned it the next day for a lot less than £40; They have had a no-quibble send-it-back-if-you-don't-like-it policy since at least 2003 (when i bought my first piece from them).

Instant gratification or just impatient, probably.Bear in mind the amount, the OP would've then had to find out how to return it fully insured, since RMSD only covers up to £2500 max. Not every one knows about ParcelPro!
Very recently bought a <1 month old Submariner Date from them. Don't expect anything other than parting with money to get the watch you want, I'd say an experience very similar to an independent used car dealer in that what you see is what you get and whilst some sales staff are very knowledgeable, some are there just because it's a job.
I popped back in the day after buying to have a link moved to the other side of the clasp (so it would sit a bit nicer on my wrist) and the bloke seemed rather reluctant to do so and wanted me to use the Glidelock mechanism instead (watch was the correct size, just sat awkwardly). After a while he gave in and adjusted it for me.
Watch was up for £5450 and they refused to go any lower than £5350, although I should imagine this differs based upon which watch you're looking at, how popular it is, and how long it has been in their stock etc.

Perhaps I should have been a little clearer. When spending that amount of money on a previously owned watch I want to see it before parting with my money and to be honest I didn't want to trust the postal system with a watch of that value.
