Congratulations!Today a certain Mr 'troubleatmill' came to see me. And we did this:
Buffing the engagement ring i'd made prior to his arrival. The design was something that couldnt have been done on the day.
We set the diamond from his previous engagement ring and got it ready for polishing:
Polished:
So then he got on with bending the platinum to make a wedding ring from scratch:
And then hammering it round:
More buffing to get ready for polishing:
Polished:
Perfect couple:
Great to have you down Scott. Hope she appreciated your efforts.

It was a pleasure meeting you today - and it was quite a fun experience working on the engagement ring - and building the wedding ring from scratch.
As you can see - she is sporting them both right now.
Note: The rings do actually fit flush to each other. She just hasn't aligned them correctly.
She is honestly over the moon with them. The first words were "Wow! They are beautiful. Really beautiful."
This evening - she can't stop looking at them.
It is quite amazing - how a simple bar of metal can be shaped to look quite so beautiful, especially with my ham fisted tendencies.
If anyone is contemplating approaching you - and is unsure about whether they are capable- I would tell them to go for it.
Working on the metal is relatively straightforward, and there is expert supervision to help correct any snafu's that are made.
And of course Eddie takes care to make sure you leave with a perfect product.
It was a brilliant day out - and the results are far more rewarding that buying from the high street.
I'm still beaming.
