I'm after something like this with a sausage cushion: http://www.smythson.com/red-panama-watch-box-cushi... but which isn't Smythson or cost as much.

Any ideas?

How many watches do you want it to hold?

I just had a Breitling serviced and the case it came back in is ideal for taking one extra watch travelling. There seem to be a few for sale on eBay.

Unless quality has gone donwnhill, the Smythson ones are much nicer finished though.

That pic is very amusing!

The Smythson's one is very nice - great quality, and it's usefully cheaper at T5 Heathrow where I pass through once a month. It's a good size too - some watch boxes can be rather chunky and blocky.

I have 3 watches at the moment and just rather like the sausage cushion rather than individual pillows. I just can't seem to find anyone who makes something similar.

Neither could I... which is why I can comment on the earlier Smythson one. whistle

Orly... does the zipper catch on the straps at all? That was my main concern... it's a chunky zip and I'd be well annoyed if it scratched a watch whilst closing it.

I have a different version without a zip: http://www.smythson.com/black-panama-travel-watch-... but in a crocodile finish. I like it a great deal.

Ahh, now I like that a lot! Much better without the zip - seems it's no longer available on the website - will see if I can track one down.
