I think they came with a square box hinged at the back, with "moon" craters on the top and a black leather base withe the speedmaster script in silver. I am not 100% on this, but did see one in auction a couple of years back sold as with original B&P. Writing that has made me question it, surely that box would have been for a PRO Moon Watch?Should it not be running then ?

Have you emailed the Omega Museum? They are normally very good and willing to answer all manner of odd ball questions!
I wonder if both are correct, I think branding and corporate image were less managed back then, and maybe the distributor in Italy had one box style, the UK a different one?
