Fwiw i took my p serial 16600 to a local jeweller who offered 3300, i put it on Ebay and had an offer of 3500, but not letting it go at that, i'll hang on to it for now.
the last time i got offered 2600 was about 2 years ago, there justification for low price this time was the fact that it had to be sent off to Rolex for a service!

2 on tz-uk for under 4k at the moment and not a sniff, they're just not desirable at the moment - the replacement really ticks all the boxes for most people.
I know what you're saying but the offers I had on my watch were firm and from a respected dealer here in the Netherlands.

Possibly a different market to the UK but long term I can't see 16660s pitch being queered long term by the updated watch.
