2014 - A relatively quiet year for me on the watch front
Discussion
For a variety of reasons my focus on watches has been less intense this year.
I still managed to acquire these, ticking several long wanted watches off my hit list along the way.
and these were sold
As to next year - I fancy a BLNR GMT but who knows what might come along?
Happy Christmas to you all.

Never even heard of Aquadive before but that first one looks great.
Any reccomendations of where to get one from?

Aquadive are basically internet order only. You can buy direct or from this guy, saving the VAT

I was going to post exactly the same thread, although my acquisitions aren't quite in the same league:
The Pierre Cardin is from the early 1970's Espace range, production ran from 1970 to 1973. It's got a Jaeger movement. I'm very happy to have found a mint one.
The Seiko is a Goldfeather. This one is mid 1960's production ran from 1960 to 1966. Very early Goldfeathers had the hour markers etched into the face. This one is a later model with printed markers. The Goldfeather was the world thinnest centre seconds watch, with a 25 jewel movement that's just 2.95mm thick.
The Lanco (Langendorf Watch Company) was ajunk antique shop find. Again a minter, this was a birthday present from Mrs MikeVeal.
Finally, letting the side down with it's cheap plastic parts is a Timex. This hails from 1976. It's utter rubbish, a really poor quality watch. But this was the first watch I ever owned, well the same model anyway. I'd pestered my parents continuously after watching Gemini Man and they gave in and bought me this, although I really wanted an LED watch. I was grateful for the watch, but didn't really understand why it wouldn't make me invisible.
