That'll be the first watch I buy when I graduate! I've wanted one for the last few years. Seems apt, considering i'll hopefully be in an engineering career.

Tried these on at the weekend;

Only tried the red on to take a picture for a mate but ended up preferring it. Didn't help that the suede strap on the brown was damaged before I even tried it on.

Not yet, is that a prerequisite of the thread?

It is the whole point of asking for a “wrist check” – in other words, “which watch are you wearing today?”.

Apologies, I'm not down with internet watch forum code-speak. Must try harder smile

Picked this up yesterday. Really pleased with it!

Lovely, a birth year one of these is going to be my wedding present to myself next year I think.

Well he was wearing them ( smile ) and I welcomed the chance to see them, although, personally, I think they're both awful!

Engineering - a most excellent career choice! Spent the last 27 years doing nothing but that. Of course, you really need a watch that says Engineer on it!

This today ... I've bought all three Black bays in the last month. They are absolutely stunning.
More than happy with my decision to buy these three rather than a Sub.

Legendary Seiko diver complements them nicely

Goodness! I LOVE the Tudor Black Bay... But not that much!

Good effort though, I guess I have a Sub Date, Seadweller and a GMT II and Mrs9 can't tell the difference between them!

Put the 856 off its bracelet and back on the leather. It's like a different watch.

They look great, congratulations smile

Which is your favourite of the three and which do you think will get most wrist time (I imagine I would wear the blue or black most due better match with similar colour clothes)

I literally did a double take when I walked past Northern Goldsmiths & saw one of these in the window. They look fantastic in the flesh!

Difficult to tell at the moment.

The Black bezel with rose detailing is just a fantastic look and for me looks like the dive watches that I lusted after when I was a teen. I have interchanged between Bracelet and fabric strap for a few days and it looks fab on both. Maybe slightly more workhorse on the fabric.

The Red bezel again with the rose detailing gives it a more modern vintage feel which really is at home with whatever clothing I am wearing. On the bracelet I love it.

The Blue bezel with silver detailing in my opinion gives the watch a very modern crisp feel and it is quite striking under certain lighting that makes it more suited to smarter dress occasions although it looks equally at home with jeans and a hoody.

At the moment I have no definite favourite and I am rotating their wear on a 3 day basis.

There is absolutely nothing that I do not like about these watches, the build quality is stunning. Yes an in house movement would be a great addition but that would push the price up from a place where imho this is a very well priced watch. The case, end link fit and bracelet quality are outstanding and I find it hard to find fault in any area of it's presentation.

I could have bought a Sub or a Sea dweller for the price I paid for these three and I have no regrets about choosing the Tudor brand and what is a fantastic looking and feeling watch.

To answer your question I guess I am leaning slightly towards the classic black bezel at the moment, but it is nice to have the variation of choice.

I would consider trading my Pelagos for a Black and gold dial Black bay if the BB came with the same clasp mechanism on the bracelet!

RAF style NATO today on the Pelagos.
