Aye it’s a beast of a watch in terms of wrist presence without having to do any shouting about itself like other divers tend to do in this kind of price area (Subs/SMPs etc). I'd didn't say they were exclusive. I said you were wrong. Rolex don't market exclusivity, they market 'Rolex', just like Porsche simply market 'Porsche'. Hate away, the watches (and cars) speak for themselves

Why? Because Seiko? The COSC figures are available and almost all Rolex are COSC.
Happy to be corrected, but I was under the impression COSC don't reveal how many units they receive from each manufacturer – the figures are an approximation or best guesstimate.

Rolex market luxury goods at a premium. Whatever the production figure is "believed" to be it's a hell of a lot of watches, which is undoubtedly a big issue for a luxury item (especially one which is hell-bent on destroying its classic products with tacky redesigns).

One of the watch mags published the top 20 COSC brands for, I think, 2013 last year. Rolex were by far No.1, nearly double the next brand, and IIRC the figure was circa 850k, it was definitely over 800k. Happy to be corrected, but I was under the impression COSC don't reveal how many units they receive from each manufacturer – the figures are an approximation or best guesstimate.
