Today I'm sporting the new to me JLC Master Control Geographic on a Hirsch ostrich strap that arrived this week.

That's lovely.

I have never found an ostrich strap as lovely as OEM one that came with my Master Calendar. I've even got a replacement from Camille Fournet who made the JLC one. I find myself applying shoe polish to it to get the honey brown colour. Anyway, that's my burden. Enjoy your watch!

Shut yer pie-hole you smile

This will live alongside the Hulk as my weekenders. The Double Red Sea-Dweller is for the chop due to lack of wear; I doubt I'll get another, that's my second and again I have failed to wear it enough to justify.

1974 watch with 4 x RSC papers and purchase receipt from the 80s if anyone wants it smile

Thought the Red was a keeper, since it was birth year, iirc?
Even though I still don't like the raise bezel markers on this (I do, for some odd reason, on the UN Maxi Marine), I'd replace the Hulk with that, and not even give it a second thought.
If you did that, and add a bit on, you could get the AP ROC on bracelet that I linked to previously in this or another thread, and pocket the Red's sale or use it against the GO Senator Chrono you expressed delight at, on TZ.

I thought so too Phil, but it's not getting worn at all; vintage just isn't my thing anymore.

One day I will get a nice pre-Moon Speedmaster... and then not wear it frown

Out of interest, how many watches do you gents think you can realistically wear regularly on rotation?

I would consider 'regular' to be about once a week so that kind of points to seven being the most, however seeing as I don't have seven watches I have no idea if this is the case or not!

My interpretation is 3:

GShock for sports/DIY/setting the time on mechanical watches
Every day watch, something like a diver that can be worn with a suit or jeans
Dress watch, for those special occasions

2 for me one for work and one for days off.

Mind you if money was no object I'd have loads Tudor Pelagos, Rolex Deepsea, Sinn (not sure what model but like most) Tag Monaco and many more biggrin

Here's my current collection, nowhere near as many as others on here or TZUK. Just need one more to fill the box..
