That is lovely, enjoy.

I have moved the Rolex brochure to a hidden room now.

I have put the titanium bracelet back on after having it on rubber for a few years, feels like a different watch smile

Spent the weekend in Italy and exercised the credit cards somewhat by buying three watches.
Here is the first which I am wearing today.

Stowa Flieger on...... a NATO eek

I've had this strap knocking around for donkey's, it was originally bought for my Sinn 757 however when I tried the two together I really didn't like it, and I've never liked NATOs since. Didn't help it was the wrong size either hehe

Skip forward a couple of years or so and I bought the Stowa though the croc strap was ever so slightly too long, so out of idle curiosity I thought I'd give the NATO a go. Low and behold we have a winner, IMO anyway.

Just got a Swatch Destination London for my birthday (42) and I'm over the moon with it. Stock photo doesn't do it justice:

I really like this and you're right about the stock photos. I've just had a google of some images. How big is it?

Not a soul has ever spotted my Longines - well spotted it then said anything anyway.

It's good I suppose but it would be nice for someone to clock it and complement it once in a while! My mate with an Edox was complimented it up when I got it, but haven't had a compliment since.

Got it for my 21st and have been wearing it now everyday for 14 months, in which it survived a pretty serious motorcycle accident!

I have an old Seiko Qtz that I bought about 20 years ago, It dropped off my wrist whilst I was on top of an overhead crane at work, A drop of around 100 feet, I thought it was gone forever but I watched it descend and 'bounce' off an old hefty Lincoln oil cooled welding set and saw the direction it went!!

I had ten min's searching and found it, The crystal was cracked badly but I couldn't believe that the second hand was still ticking away at it's usual one second intervals so I fitted an acrylic crystal and thought just how hardy these watches were.... That is until I looked at the date some days later!!

The date complication was fubar!!!!

The watch still runs fine today and I always change the battery when required though I never actually wear it now!!

Smaller than it looks in that pic, it's perfect on my wrist. It's got a quality feel, especially the strap and the deep blue background is gorgeous. One of the girls at work spotted it straight away, made my day!

Always wanted a Swatch but the bright colours were too much, this is the best of both worlds. There are New York and Paris editions too.
Swatch have made some very nice I would say "adult" looking watches.

The Steinhart ocean vintage military finally arrived today after a 6 week wait, I have to say at the price they're going for I'm impressed. The bracelet feels a little cheap, but that maybe because I'm directly comparing to my Mühle that I've just taken off.... Which isn't fair really.

Anyway, I threw the OVM onto a leather nato strap and I think it suits it really well.... Thoughts?
