Don't see many of these, was wearing mine today too and bought as a holiday watch with the rubber strap

This is a recent acquisition. Not sure if it's a keeper.

Rubber strap's perfect for wearing every day. I've worn it most days for about 2 years since I bought it new, and the watch barely shows any signs of ageing at all
It keeps time far more accurately than both my Tag and Chopard too

I think the only thing I'd potentially trade it in for is one of the black/black Galapagos chrono editions

There are many styles and types there too!

Here it is, on the wrist.

I spent quite some time choosing the watch in the Patek Boutique - could have gone for a 5396 in white gold or 5146 in platinum plus a few others but settled on this one as the dial combination with gold works so well and is quite rare. I thought the power reserve was a gimmick and I would not find it useful but the reality is that it is useful. The other reason I went with the 5146 and not for the 5396 is that the 5146 has lume whereas the 5396 does not.
Agree with all of that - and I do miss lume on the 5205 but my GO PC covers that base for me.

The 5205 in red gold and black dial is mind-bendingly beautiful but I had enough yellow/red gold watches.

Your GO PC is a very nice watch and from what I can see is the previous model which has lume rather than the current model which does not have lume. I am very reluctant to buy watches without lume as I find it very annoying not being able to see the time at night or in dimly lit conditions.

Robbie - what are you using to change straps? I'd like to try mine on the rubber but the spring bar prong I have seems too large. I'm guessing there is a knack to getting it right.

Looks great but I'm torn, one side of me likes the originality and simplicity of it all, but the other side of me sees a small dial and lots of wasted space.

Has it got a display back?
Oh yes that is one of the best bits.

Very nice. Enjoy!

Received my MM300 back from TZ's Duncan (Cannop) yesterday, knowing that he has a thing for Seikos I sent it to him after I dropped it onto a tiled floor from shoulder height....

Aside from the engraving on the side of the case, does the watch have any other additional features from the standard version?
