Dead easy to brush out with a 'cape cod' cloth too, when it gets tatty just brush them out.
Cheers for that! Just checking out cape cod metal polishing kits on amazon and they're only $30 or so, and had some good reviews too.
Order placed.

Apologies for the piss-poor photo, but after 3 months in the "Rolex Spa" for a full service and new bezel (old pearl had a tiny crack in it) I got this back earlier in the week.

Not left my wrist since smile

Just made a donation to my wife's triathlon fundraising (friend of ours diagnosed with very late stage cancer) so I popped across to Eddie's page and donated a few quid there too.

Hope that you get that Guinness World Record too!
Very kind thank you very much. Does your wife have a donation page?

Is that a 6 door car?
No tongue out I have a convertible, so the middle button controls all 4 windows going up/down.

Robbie - what are you using to change straps? I'd like to try mine on the rubber but the spring bar prong I have seems too large. I'm guessing there is a knack to getting it right.
I use a small head spring bar tool I bought off Amazon but even still it requires a knack which you quickly figure out smile I think I paid £6 or something for it, nothing fancy but it certainly does the job!

My Steinhart Ocean - Can't Afford A Rolex - One with green bezel was delivered today (three days from order, direct from Germany!). It's actually a really nice watch, seems really good quality and well made for the money. It'll replace my Seiko for most day to day wearing until I can afford a Breitling Avenger, and then a Rolex Daytona - one day!! Was very easy to adjust the bracelet myself (screws) and it feels very comfortable on the wrist. Better than my Seiko Monster anyway.

I wasn't originally a big Submariner fan, but they've really grown on me over the past few years, and the Steinhart fills a gap whilst I'm working towards the dream watches.

Great looking watch there, would love to buy a Rolex but cannot bring my self to spend that much. Is this the website you brought it from? http://www.steinhartwatches.de

Consistently some of the best watch photos I've seen - not just in this thread, but pretty much anywhere. Can we have more please?
