I can confirm its perspective. I've not got huge wrists but I can carry off a deepsea without much trouble.

My recently acquired Smiths Everest from 1953 which wears much bigger than its small proportions may suggest.
The mechanical ticking is very therapeutic and it's amazing to think this watch was made only 8 years after the second world war ended, a really beautiful piece in amazing condition, a credit to its one and only previous owner.
