I wish people would add full model description. It would enhance this thread immeasurably.

Highly doubt it was aimed at me, as who wants to know about a 10 year old TAG, but I've updated my post smile

We're gonna need a bigger wrist!

This monster turned up this morning, Casio's GST-W110-1AER.

I've never quite got the knack of taking a wrist shot that shows the true size of the watch in proportion to my 7.25" wrist, whatever I'm wearing always looks a touch larger in the 'photo than it does to my eye and this is no exception. It's still darn huge though biggrin

Here it is with my GW-3000 Aviator, itself no shrinking violet, and also with the admittedly smaller GW-5000.

I'm considering writing up a review so I won't warble on for a Wristcheck post, however I'll conclude by saying that despite its size proportionally it's spot on and I think it's über cool. And big.

Did I mention its size?

Thanks. I'm interested in everything that appears in here (yours included!) but don't know enough to recognise them all off the cuff, if you'll pardon the pun...

Yesterday, was in Manchester city centre.

The shop on the upper level in the Arndale centre in Manchester was trying to sell this for £880.

Girl asked why I was laughing, I said its a £250 rrp watch and can be had for less, that's why.

First wrist shot of the Patek Philippe 5235G-001 Regulator Dial with Annual Calendar. Last set ten days ago and still accurate to the second (I am sure there were some daily +/- variances along the way within tolerance but this is how it ended up after ten days). Power reserve 48+ hours.

Thats what I like about it....

Apparently the trigger is a throwback to WW2 bomb aimers who would wear gloves and needed a reliable way to operate the stopwatch.

Isn't it all back to front though? How would you operate the 'spoon' with your right hand with it on the left of the watch????

From one extreme to another...

I wore this yesterday. My 21st birthday present (in 1983) it got a rare outing to celebrate another big life event, my daughter graduated.
