I have been wearing a 5054R every day for years and love it partly because nobody notices it.
The wrong watch if you want to impress anyone.
yes, but YOU know ......and it's so nice to wallow in ones own smugness The wrong watch if you want to impress anyone.

AGAIN!!!
After the posts (thank you) on this thread, I decided on a Patek 5712/1A.

Now, I see on ebay, that somone in the western Isles of Scotland is selling a Patek 5712 in steel and it is at (less than) £7000.
I have looked on Chrono24. Apart from USA, there is ONE on Bond Street, a few in Italy, Palma, Moderna, Roma and one in Monte Carlo (the one in Cyprus was long gone when I called. The price was low). I doubt very much that someone from Stornoway is selling their Nautilus for less than a third of the next lowest priced.
It is not the same user name as the last one I whinged about, but the description is written identically. Obviously he found the last sale beneficial.
(Apologies to you if you are a genuine philanthropist seller and get joy from selling watches for a third of their value).

Main pictures and description are stolen from this genuine seller/ listing that ended sometime early summer 2014

Utter scum, but with something like that you most definitely buy the seller.
