Tried a few on this afternoon. Looks and feels much nicer in the flesh. Very good finish, clever straps. The larger version really isn't that big on the wrist (I don't have big wrists). Sport felt feather light (but I am used to wearing a Rolex Sub). Screen was lovely, but I suspect will suffer from finger smudges.
Very snug fit from the sport band, leather bands felt quite supple too. Wrap around leather magnetic band was clever.
As for the functionality, It seems to have a lot of potential. As with the first incarnation of the iPhone, it appears limited at the moment. However every new platform has to start from somewhere. I don't see the need for a phone as a companion as a problem, even for fitness. The current technology requires tradeoffs and the balance that has been struck leaves a lot of scope for development with third party apps and refinement of the OS.
I haven't ordered one. I'm tempted, but will either wait for more apps to appear or for the next hardware incarnation. But I like it a lot....

Down side it that I asked for it to be delivered to the office and I'm at home tomorrow - might have to have a trip in to pick it up if I have time!

No idea. They told me June when I ordered, then texted to say that it would be delivered today. It appears to have turned up at work, so I may need to take a trip to the office this afternoon
Have to say, I'm pretty impressed with it.
Very light, super sharp display and from a watch perspective so much configuration options, you'd technically have a different watch display for months!

I'm still skeptical but very keen to see the watch in the flesh. I have a few colleagues who've purchased the Apple Watch so I'm keen to see how it works.
However, having said all that, I think the Milanese loop looks really knaff. I know many people will like it but as with everything it's not to all tastes and certainly not mine. It looks dated and overall, the shape of the product looks like something from the 70's.

Well that's where current watch fashion is at the moment. 70s square cases and mesh bracelets are back. They may not be your preference, but they are very popular at the moment, and I for one think it looks great ^smn159 said:
