I think they would be called homages rather than replicas as a replica/copy/fake tries to replicate the branding as well.

I bought one of the Panerai handwound lookalikes from them to see if I liked the look enough to consider a real Panerai.

Within a few days both of the screws holding the crown guard had come loose and one was lost. Once I managed to source some suitably sized replacements from eBay it's been fine and the watch itself keeps very good time.



I paid about £50 (I had to pay VAT and duty) overall and for that price it's a decent enough watch, but you'd need to be very naive to be fooled into thinking this was a Panerai quality watch...
