I'm almost there with my collection:

GShock 5610 solar/atomic for being rugged and accurate.
Oris BC3 as my main watch, a Swiss automatic that I can wear with a suit or jeans.

I've currently got a 3 berth watch box, so I need to add another watch, I'm thinking something dressier than my Oris, probably a Nomos Orion, will be shopping for one at the weekend.

One out one in last year, but otherwise no immediate plans and stable at 9 watches:

2 Grand Seiko
2 JLC
1 Lange
1 Patek
2 Rolex
1 Voutilainen

Sold my 50th Ann Speedy, AP Diver, Omega Constellation, DSSD, 1 SDc, lots of SS Daytonas and am left with a G-Shock and 1 SDc (the Perfect watch!).

The curious thing is that I don't miss any of the sold ones and that's strange to me.

Would save me a lot of cash if I was cured of this terrible affliction!

Could fancy a Zenith Pilot 'Big Date' like the one David just sold on TZ, though...

Quite a fan of the Nomos. Put some pics up if you buy one.

Another Nomos fan.

If you don't already have one it's worth requesting their catalogue, nicely put together.

I've got one, very high quality, but more about the company than the individual watches.

1. Big, shiny, absurd. Gen 2 Orange Monster.
2. Desk diver to work everywhere. Ward C61 blue.
3. Frivolous and delicate chrono. Seagull 1963.

Obviously not a watch fan as this is enough for now. smile

After years of flipping I have 30 watches and a huge hit list of watches I still want to experience. The trouble is I don't want to put much more money into the collection, but there is nothing in the current crop I want to sell.

Most likely next purchase is a Scubpro 450 so not a huge investment.

Shortened version of my wish list:

Rolex BLNR GMT
Glashutte Original PanoReserve
Heuer Autavia 11063 GMT

My collection is SERIOUSLY "samey" but I like what I like!

As a complete contrast I'd like a Panarai Bronzo if they did it in 43-45mm and it wasn't so expensive (which means I won't be having one)

Fancy a very late Pepsi GMT, fancy a blue Black Bay, quite like the Omega Dark Side Of The Moon and quite like the Blancpain ceramic Fifty Fathoms.

I sold my 16700 Pepsi GMT last Summer really regret it now. Every time I see one now I get a little upset, its the only watch within reason I would add to my collection.

That's why I take an absolute age to make the final decision to sell one, I need to be 110% sure that I will never want to see it again, bad enough when it's a watch that can be easily bought again, UTTER bh if it's something like a Pepsi that can only be bought used (if that makes a difference to you) and has appreciated!

I'm going to behave myself until after Basel.

From left left to right:-

Longines Legend Diver (latest addition to the collection)

Chopard MM Ltd Ed 2006

Omega Seamaster Chronometer

Heuer Silverstone

Oris Chronoris

Maurice Lacroix Pontos Chronograph

Seiko Sportura Chronograph (Quartz, my alleged daily wearer  )

TAG Monaco CW2111.3 (wanted a Black 3 sub dial to be different)

Tissot Visodate automatic

2 x Gucci 9000m (both quartz, my first decent watches at 18)

My Bampie's vintage Omega solid gold dress watch, hand wound, paper thin

My Dad's vintage gold Omega Seamaster with inca block movement.

Most are limited edition, only the vintage two are without boxes & papers but even they have originality certificates from Omega as the went back to Switzerland for extensive restoration.

Fairly serious collecter. Had them all re-valued last year and was chuffed to bits with the results smile

Well I did have a lovely start to my collection but we got burgled last years so currently my collection is:

Rolex Sumbariner - black 16610 (last of the non ceramics and my fave)
TNT Challenger 1 - Not sure if I'm happy with it yet and was a long wait to get it

In the burglary I lost some beaters with sentimental value along with a pair of 1950's Zeniths, early Rolex Explorer, Tudor Prince and a Zodiac. frown
