Fwiw, seadweller at bottom, deepsea at top.

Sigh. Sorry about rotation again.

I still think the internal ring on the deep sea spoils an otherwise lovely watch, it just looks crap IMHO.

Strangely, as much as I dislike brietlings I do really like the ones in your OP.

A totally personal thing however for me, I just don't see a rolex sub as a watch for a wedding day. For me they're fantastic watches to be worn every day, but they are very much a sports watch, something that looks best when dressing down.

A datejust would just seem more fitting for the occasion though obviously you're not just buying the watch to wear for that one day!

Take your point but if it's not dressy enough in the end I'll maybe just get something additional. Don't tell the Mrs, in advance! Also don't like datejusts.

It's there for a reason though! That's the ringlock part of the case and what stops it collapsing at 3900m +25% pressure.

If it was plain, it would probably look worse.

The ring isn't massively noticeable in the flesh, which is not what you'd expect. Only really noticeable side-by-side. The biggest difference is the size and weight, but weirdly it's not really apparent from the photo. It's just a little bigger in every dimension, mainly depth which you can't see. Might have a photo. I love the seadweller, but am starting to think if you're gonna be a bear, be a grizzly!!

The Sea-Dweller is just about my favourite watch at the moment, I think. So that's what I'd go for.
