I still think the internal ring on the deep sea spoils an otherwise lovely watch, it just looks crap IMHO.
Strangely, as much as I dislike brietlings I do really like the ones in your OP.
A totally personal thing however for me, I just don't see a rolex sub as a watch for a wedding day. For me they're fantastic watches to be worn every day, but they are very much a sports watch, something that looks best when dressing down.
A datejust would just seem more fitting for the occasion though obviously you're not just buying the watch to wear for that one day!

It's there for a reason though! That's the ringlock part of the case and what stops it collapsing at 3900m +25% pressure.If it was plain, it would probably look worse.
