Am deciding to pull the plug on one of these with a budget of £10k. I will get pre owned and have seen a number of watches I like circa 8 years being oldest and a couple only 3 years old, I think most of the depreciation is done but any thoughts would be welcome. By the way the watch would be a keeper.

I personally love the Offshores, especially the Silver Themes (Panda), though they seem to devide opinion on here. Be careful of the titanium ones, thay are scratch magnets apparently.
If you can, make sure you get one on a bracelet. It really is a work of art on it's own, and just makes the watch shine on the wrist.

There are several excellent aftermarket strap makers that produce fantastic stuff at much lower prices than gen, especially the hornbacks.

As new as possible is good - try and get one that has the AP 1320 base calibre rather than the original JLC base. They both use the same Lemania-derived Depraz Dubois chronograph module but it;s good to have the 'in-house' base movement IMHO at that kind of money.

Integrated bracelet is a must, it's the raison d'etre of the watch.

I sold my diver with bracelet, rubber strap and hornback for a point within your budget.

Fabulous piece with only one drawback: It's a dress watch movement inside a huge case!

i got a new ROchrono for £10k against asking of i think £17800.

lovely bit of kit, so well made, heavy and solid.

The boss has a few ROO's, including a lovely pink gold black bezel number. i would have had an ROO but couldnt find a good dealio
