Hi

I'm looking for a strap for my 007 and was thinking of something like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/high-class-buffaloLeather-...

I'm not sure about sizes, but think 20mm is right?

Any other or better options at the budget end of the price range?

Thanks

Flightmasters are 21mm, so I've been using 22mm to make sure there's no slack.

Between the lugs seems to be 22mm, but the width of the existing rubber strap is closer to 20mm.....

Not helped by my crap ruler.

If it's the rubber strap it came on, it's a Z22.

Geddit?

That makes sense.

Any thoughts on a decent lightish brown strap for one that isn't too expensive (sub £30?)?

Thanks.

I'd like to wear it more often, hence the need for a variety of straps.

Might want to consider a Nato - easy to change straps. smile

The z22 had started to irritate my skin so changed it to a leather strap from WatchObession . Good website and very prompt delivery. A huge range to browse on their website. I think this was about £25 delivered but they stock all price ranges and even some funny nylon straps .

Looks good, I'll take a look.

NATO isn't a bad shout too. I'll bear it in mind.

Thanks

Try Joe at Diaboliq straps he's a top guy and very good quality straps made to measure he's on Facebook or you can e mail
diaboliqstraps@gmail.com

Prices are about €70 so about £50 at the moment which is very good value for the quality.

Have you looked at "Yellowdog" straps? Alex does a really nice leather NATO straps. Made to order for your wrist size.

I have one on a Seiko "big boss" diver and it looks lovely (and it's very comfortable too). I have the "vintage distressed brown" and love it.

Service was fantastic too, paid to on my wrist in about a week...

Pavstraps on facebook as well - he advertises on a few forums, I've got couple of his and they're easily as good as a Toshi for less than half the price.

Good recommendations all, many thanks.

Only problem I find with a Nato is that is makes the watch stand higher off the wrist & it's a fairly chunky watch already. Skinny wrists don't help...

Yeah, you can cut off the extra retainer bit so there's only one layer underneath.
