I've seen that one before, didn't mind watching it again!

Quite wonderful. And no pressure on the engravers whatsoever.

I wouldn't mind but the finished product is very unaesthetic imo. Apparently you have to be selected by patek as a fan as well as willing to pay the million to acquire one. I'm sure it is finished to the highest calibre but not looking at the big picture at all. I'm sure they'll sell the full run of them as they probably are still a good investment as a limited edition.

Not sure that "the full run" is relevant here:

"Commemorative limited edition of 7 timepieces
Six will be sold and one will be part of the Patek Philippe Museum Collection"

I don't disagree and also find that most of their products are a bit gourdy, but as with all of their most important pieces you cannot just rock up to a dealer and buy one. They are only making 6 available to buy worldwide making La Ferrari etc. as common as muck.So some form of "selection" is required in order to determine who is, and who is not, lucky enough to be able to get one.

Bit like buying a GT3RS really....

What you cannot fault is the sheer quality of manufacturing and finish.

I didn't realise they are making so few. It is a terrible looking yoke though seen through anyone eyes although obviously ingenious. Now the nautilus esp I'm white gold that's a lovely watch but way overpriced. Most of their other stuff is hopeless imo but then again I like only a few of Rolexes or omegas models so much of a muchness there.

I'm a huge PP fan but that thing is disgusting.

I admire the craftsmanship, but all of that work on the movement is hidden behind the dials. Some of the exhibition back complications with simpler, less "decorated" cases are nice. I do own a PP with hate what 95%+ of them look like.

Hi

Just back today from Basel and saw it behind a window. It is quite some watch!

There were some lovely new additions to the PP range too but sadly well beyond my budget.

The Grandmaster Flash.

Horrid - but beautifully so. A watch never to wear but simply admire.

Fascinating video though. Enjoyed it.
