So the big selling point here (and part of the justification for price) is that these rubber straps are made in Switzerland? Since when has Switzerland been the Mecca of all things rubber? Making watches and mouldmg rubber straps are completely different trades, and anyone who thinks that paying top dollar for a Swiss made piece of rubber is deluding themselves.

Which is why I bought a Hirsch alternative.

I've just purchased a Hirsch pure. Not received it yet, but if other people's reviews are anything to go by I can't wait to use it.

They were outrageously expensive when I rang for my Explorer II strap, and when I gasped at the price they immediately reduced it to match blowerssmile...
Turns out they didn't have an orange one anyway........

How much are we talking?
How do the brighter colours wear? i.e do the reds and oranges get grubby over time?

I didn't get one in the end but the USP for me was the fact that the ends curved to match the watch and that it could be incorporated with the clasp. It looks more "original" in my eyes. I wouldn't say spending £150 or whatever they are now on a £3-5k watch as top dollar although I'll happily admit there are plenty of adequate cheaper options.

There is another company who make a curved end strap as well that are slightly cheaper although the name escapes me now.

I bought directly from their website and received it no problem. It broke about a year later (worn everyday) and they sent me a replacement immediately. I was really taken aback. I guess that they were genuinely surprised. It is now eighteen months on from the replacement and all is well with it.... In all honesty, rubberB have been very good and the fit and finish is faultless.
