Omega PO Stopped...
Discussion
So it may be a case of not having moved enough to wind it?
Easy way to find out – wind it manually, with 45-60 turns, then see if it stops 12 or so hours later.
If not, then wear it for a full day, making sure to move your wrist plenty, and see if it stops sooner than expected.
If it doesn't, you've your answer – if it does, then you've an issue with the rotor and/or auto winding mechanism.

That's what is often suggested – the higher number I mentioned is something I recall seeing elsewhere, positing that the lower number often cited, doesn't actually result in a fully wound movement.
Even if only 45 were needed, the extra 15 won't cause any harm, as the mainspring will simply slip within the barrel. At least then, you can be sure it's definitely fully wound, and the actual PR of the movement can be measured – which is always useful to know.

I bought a chrono PO 2 years ago and had this problem twice in a week. I did some Googling and discovered that the movement was well known to have an issue that caused intermittent stops. I sent it back for a refund.
It was two years ago so I can't remember the details 100%, but from memory it was a 2010 watch.

Just to update. My watch kept stopping, and I guessed the main spring has snapped. I sent it up to a repairer and he confirmed the main spring had snapped. So he changed that. It still didnt run right. So he changed the escapement wheel. Fingers crossed its fixed.... should have it back soon.

On the other hand, since the intermediate escape wheel and mainspring were brand new original Omega (can post the invoice for it if you really need) but they replaced it anyway, perhaps they just go through a set list of bits they replace whether needed or not?
Just a thought there.
eta: incidentally, since you never actually paid for the service because I cancelled the invoice - despite having cost myself the escape wheel and new genuine mainspring - I'm not entirely sure what your point is in posting that anyway

I suppose to keep the thread updated... someone might be interested as to the Omega service procedure and what happens.
Might as well have just replaced the whole movement by the looks of it.
p.s Im not getting into details of what happened on here.... this isnt a name and shame so feel free to delete your comment.
