Any watch fanatics on here rate them / like them for the money?

Wife has been bugging me to sort out a 40th B/day present and I'm a sucker for a watch.

Currently have 2 Breitlings, mid size Omega Seamaster, TW Steel and a Seiko Automatic Divers.

Saw one in a thread the other day and quiet like the look of them.

The watch will be purchased from Goldsmiths as the wife will change up some Tescos Vouchers for £750 GS Vouchers, she's then putting another £500 in, so I have a start budget of £1,250.

I like the look of this one.

Anyone have any experience of them?

many thanks

I've had mine ages and I love it. They are a good brand, without some of the prices.

I was going to suggest the Artelier but judging by the watch you have linked (that I really like) it won't be your bag.

I have an Oris TT1 in titanium, similar to the one in your link. Lovely big lump and don't think I'll ever sell it.

Bang for buck I really rate these, the model you're looking at is a limited run. About 1400 pieces I'm sure. Crowns on the left which is different and it also comes with a different box along with a torch.

£1300 for a ceramic bezel and 300m water resistantcy isn't too shabby. I really like this model.

Good decision!
I have one of these:

and can honestly say it's worth every penny of the, very reasonable, price.

Thanks, the one you have was my original choice as I like the orange markings but when I looked on the GS web site, saw the limited edition one with red markings.

Looking forwad to picking it up now, just hope I like it smile

I have the middle one of these:

Bought by my wife as a graduation present. Will never sell it and I love the brand, much more exclusive (IMO) than your usual suspects.

Another Oris fan here! I've got a BC3 Advanced, it isn't my most expensive watch, but it is my favourite.

I have owned my Carlos Coste LE for about 3 years now, I am the second owner and know the first owner well. It has given us both faultless service and has a nice quality feel to it. The divers watches are somewhat on the chunky side, but I like this as I have hands like shovels.

Got a BC3. Doesn't get much wrist time these days but still like it a lot. Mostly rocking either a Hydroconquest or a G Shock these days...

Thanks for your comments all, reassuring to know that Oris as a make appeared to have a good reputation.

Never had one before.

Don't mind if the divers watches are a bit chunky, my TW steel is my weekend watch, and well, they're not small !!! Lol

No one with an Oris takes it off to wear a TW Steel watch at the weekend!

You say that, I've had more compliments about my TW Steel on a Shark Mesh Bracelet than I've had when wearing my Omega or Breitlings.

Had it 4 years now and it's been a great watch and still looks brand new.

Been very impressed with TW Steel as a brand of watch.
