The first of those is particularly interesting. There's zero point in getting an unworn watch, because this is very definitely not for a cabinet, but for my wrist. And, as you say, you can get it re polished for a nominal amount.https://www.chrono24.com/en/patekphilippe/annual-c...

A phone call to Germany tomorrow, I think.

Make sure you're getting box/papers/pusher tool – and if no papers, Extract from the Archive (which costs £100+) to prove authenticity.

You can all trot out the usual crap, but that's a very cheap and guaranteed watch.

Does seem cheap, doesn't it, particularly against the rest of their stock. The box and papers seem to make a disproportionate difference, given that you can get the provenance provided by PP for not too much. http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Patek%20Philippe/Annu...

I wandered over to look at the the 5035G's they had in stock, having been assured that two of the three were in the Bank showroom. When I got there, there were none to be had; they'd been sent to the Maidstone branch instead, and I'd been misinformed. Hugely annoying, and puts me off dealing with them to some degree.
Really wanted to see what the white gold version looked like versus the platinum - I'd tried on a 5146P at the PP boutique the previous day, and was very happy with it, but I liked the white gold version more than I thought I would. Might yet be swayed that direction.
Anyway, I'll see what turns up. If possible, I'd prefer to buy face to face rather than on the internet, and ideally not from a dealer.
