Theres a guy that uses this place Ecaine63 I think it is? Refurbs watches and builds jewellery. Ive never felt with him but seems a great guy!

I'm looking to ask a big question in the next 12 months and I'll be going to see him I think rather than using a "friend" 5 miles down the road. That should speak for itself

I've just bought something similar for my wife. I don't think there is anything wrong with high street stuff but you do pay through the nose. I ended up buying from http://aandsjewellers.co.uk in Hatton Garden based on the recommendation of several friends. As a comparison, the earrings I was considering in Beaverbrooks were £4k and I got the same thing in A and S for £3k. The risk in Hatton Garden is getting sucked in by pushy selling but these guys were brilliant, no hard sell, and very honest about the relevance of the various quality ratings. Will basically make whatever you want from stock in no time at all.

As an added bonus, going to Hatton Garden really is like wandering into the set of Snatch!
