Excellent exhibition, every piece a work of art. And it's free. Well worth a visit. Fortunately, no watches on sale.

Went along this morning and it is well worth a visit. Some fantastic timepieces, live demonstrations and plenty of PP staff on hand willing to engage in a chat and answer questions.

Can only echo the above comments - an excellent exhibition - worth making the effort to go and see!

Brilliant exhibition. Amazing to see the entire collection in one place and some real rarities like the Star Calibre 2000 and others. Also great to see the watchmakers making parts and explaining the workings of some of the movement types. Don't miss it!

I went to this the other day. Came over from Germany especially! It was wonderful. Watchmakers were present, plying their trade in various states of the watches' undress, something I have never seen so close up and, talking to them, I quickly realised just how unfathomably (for me!) complicated and wonderful the whole process is.

Having been to the Saatchi gallery a few weeks previously for another exhibition, it's obvious that the effort and expense poured into this by Patek has been quite remarkable. If you like watches, you will LOVE this.

I visited the Patek 175th anniversary exhibition at lunchtime today. An absolutely first class event, we walked straight in and had unhurried, uninterrupted views of all the watches. There was a fantastic selection of pieces, and the AV installations were first class.

If you have the opportunity do it..

I went at about 5pm on Thursday. As others have stated, it really is great exhibition. There are some amazing pieces that I am unlikely to ever see again, including the watches created for Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II. The automaton music boxes are incredible examples of mechanics and art.

Highlight for me was the 175th anniversary watch interactive display, with the movement displayed on a HD powerwall and operated from an iPad. Set the time/date on the iPad and the wall display shows you what's going on inside the case.

Really good event, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Grandmaster Chime is a monster, however. Incredible piece of horological engineering of course, but aesthetically is a bit "Toprak Mansion".

The PP blonde lady who was sheparding around specific guests probably had a bigger crowd of admirers than some of their pieces, but getting up close to a 5980 had a good few of us salivating.
